Dan Rosenbaum has extensive experience in strategy development and implementation, general management, finance, and business development. A senior leader with global, multi-cultural background and experience, he has a successful track record of driving operational excellence and building motivated, high-performance organizations. Prior to joining NattoPharma, Rosenbaum served in several senior management roles at FMC Corporation, including: General Manager FMC Health & Nutrition – nutraceuticals and pharmaceutical divisions; global director, Ag Products Professional Solutions division; and in Brazil as both CFO and director of marketing for FMC Quimica do Brasil. He earned an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College; and a B.A. in Economics, with distinction, and a B.A. Fine Arts, Sculpture, both from Cornell University.
Hogne Vik, MD, PhD, MBA
Chief Medical Officer
A medical doctor by training, Dr. Hogne Vik has more than 30 years of experience in medical, pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, and research industries. As global vice president of product development in Nycomed, he was one of the main forces behind the development and market entrance of VisiPaque. Following Nycomed, Dr. Vik was instrumental in bringing Tonalin (CLA) to the European and US markets, as part of Natural ASA. Additionally, he was one of the key executives in the management team of Pronova BioPharma, securing the US and Japanese market entrances of Omacor/Lovaza. Most recently, Dr. Vik has been the driving force behind the documentation program securing the current marketing position of Superba Krill Oil, developed and manufactured by Aker BioMarine Antarctic.
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining NattoPharma in January 2016, Kjetil Ramsøy served in several senior financial positions within the power supply industry, as well as the oil service industry. His last position was as CFO for Seabed Geosolutions BV, where he was based in Houston, TX. Having worked in both Scandinavia and the United States, he brings experience from both global and publicly listed companies to NattoPharma. Ramsøy is a Certified Public Accountant, and has also completed a series of Executive Management programs at Handelshøyskolen BI, Oslo, specializing within the areas of Corporate Finance, International Business Management and Information Technology Management.
SVP Global Sales & Marketing
Eric Anderson has been a member of the natural products industry for more than 20 years, during which time he was involved in the introduction of several successful novel ingredients, including Chitosan, CLA and MK-7 Natural Vitamin K2. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Aker BioMarine Antarctic US, where he was responsible for establishing and staffing the company’s North American offices, with an emphasis on promoting Superba™ brand krill oil.
Director of Communications
Having previously served as the Editor-in-Chief of VRM Media, publisher of b2b magazines for the natural health and dietary supplement industries, Kate Quackenbush has an extensive understanding of the retail and alternative practitioner markets, as well as the supply side of the natural products industry. With nine additional years of publishing experience, seven in B2B and two in medical texts, she was also a freelance journalist who developed content for the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
VP, Global Development and Regulatory
Prior to joining NattoPharma in 2015, William Sommer led the global formulations group at FMC Corporation. He has more than 20 years experience working on product and application development and manufacturing in regulated specialty chemical industries. Sommer holds MBA and BS degrees from Rutgers University, and an MS from Columbia University in Chemical Engineering.
Rudi De Man
VP Sales and Business Development
Rudi De Man serves as Vice President of Sales and Business Development of NattoPharma ASA, responsible for Europe and Asia. Prior to joining NattoPharma, he held sales leadership and business development roles in the FMC Health and Nutrition division. During his 19-year tenure at FMC, De Man served in a variety of sales roles, acquiring international sales experience and an extensive knowledge of the Food Ingredients and Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical business. His most recent position was Sales Director Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe for Food Stabilizers and Colors, where he was responsible for managing the Food and Personal Care business. De Man has a degree in Biochemistry.
Director of Nordic Accounts and EU Marketing
Prior to joining Nattopharma as Director of Nordic Accounts and EU Marketing, Gunilla Traberg served 14 years in the international nutraceutical industry with marketing and communications positions in Epax Norway AS, (part of FMC Corporation since 2013), responsible for the branding and marketing of the internationally recognized Epax omega-3 brand. She has acquired considerable experience from managerial roles within B2B and FMCG in marketing, sales, and branding of leading food and household brands, in companies such as Frionor ASA (now part of Findus), Denofa, and Lilleborg Fabrikker AS (now Orkla). Traberg earned her business degree, international study program, from Linköping University, and completed language studies at the University of Aix/Marseille in Aix-en-Provence.
Sales Manager, Americas
Prior to joining Nattopharma as Sales Manager, Americas, Collene Villalobos was an invaluable member of the Chromadex team for eight years. A gradulate of Kansas State University with a degree in Biology, she joined Chromadex as a Reference Standards Manager, managing all aspects of order fulfillment as well as the testing and qualification of new incoming materials and inventory. Villalobos later served as Logistics and Procurement Manager directing products from ingredient to finished goods to retail fulfillment. She was then promoted to manage the Ingredient Sales team, where she served the companies’ sales needs for several years.
