Natto has been analyzed for its content of various derivatives of vitamin K using HPLC methods in quality assured laboratories (Fig.4). The content of menaquninone-7 is astonishingly high compared to other derivatives of vitamin K, as shown in the figure above. One portion of 100 grams of natto contains from 800 -1000 µg MK-7/serving.
